How have you got to where you are today?
Well, it all began when I was 10 years old. Rather then doing homework, I spent most of my time drawing Disney characters and cars as I watched “Saturday Disney” every week.
I never really did get into homework, but I didn’t stop drawing and experimenting. As I got older, the creative bug grew further expanded into an interest in design. When it was time to choose a career path, their was only one thing I wanted to do.
In a few words, describe yourself…
A fun, motivated, enthusiastic, laid back smart ass.
What are you spending your time on at the moment?
At the moment, I’m finishing off some personal illustrations. Apart from that, designing stationary for a corporate identity I’m working on.
Do you have a ritual for getting into the creative mindset? Or a creative process?
Good coffee and great music usually gets me through. The actual process varies depending on the project.
Generally though, it begins on paper.
What or who inspires you?
Everything! It seems to come at the strangest times. I always make to sure to write it down though.
What are you most proud of?
Usually the project I have most recently completed. I’m a firm believer that I’m always refining my skill set.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Strange enough I actually wanted to become a chef. This probably explains my desire to consume tasty food.
