Interview with animator Joe Brumm
Experienced animator and director, Joe Brumm leads the passionate animation team at Studio JOHO. After a ten year stint in London, Joe returned home to Brisbane and decided to start his own company early last year. He aims to bring together the best of the many studios he’s worked in during his career.
Studio Joho’s in-house project, Dan The Man, became a world-wide viral senstation when it launched in early 2010. Think back to 8 bit Super Mario Bros. of the 80’s, and Dan the Man is dealing with a new realm of credit cards, affairs and a demanding princess.
Since the launch of the pilot, the team have been busy producing an entire series of seven episodes. Joe explains that they hope to launch these in the next couple of months. So follow on Facebook to catch the news when it happens.
